Get out of your head and into your body! Physicality enhances every part of singing from breathing to vocalizing to being expressive in performance. In this class you will learn and practice exercises designed to release tension and heighten bodily expressivity and will apply them to music of your choosing. You'll leave with specific techniques to help you breathe more freely, access more vocal range and freedom, and integrate movement and gesture into your performing for greater comfort and authenticity. Note: this is a studio course, not a lecture! We will be actively moving and singing every day.

Prerequisites: none This course runs Monday–Friday.
